Everyone wants to do the kettlebell swing.  But it’s not an exercise one should just watch and go try.

So where DO you start?

Ah!  You’re in the right place…

We’re going to start by looking at what we call the trifecta—the kettlebell deadlift, the hard-style plank, and the glute bridge.

And in this case, it ain’t just looking.  You can need to touch as well.

Kettlebell Swing Foundations: The Trifecta

Now that we’ve learned the trifecta, it’s time to learn the swing itself.

But again, we’re still not going to jump right in.  We’re talking (and you’re practicing) the stance, how to start, how to finish, and putting all of our drills together to make one be-you-tee-full, safe, and powerful swing.

How to Kettlebell Swing

Will this be PERFECT overnight?

Nope.

But if you take the time to practice your kettlebell deadlift, hard-style plank, and your glute bridge, AND THEN work on your hike, your dead stop swing, and finally your kettlebell swing… you’re going to be a swinger in no time—ummm, like, when it comes to fitness anyways.  What you do in your personal life is none of our business.
